One to a group until you can ride independently and then you can enter group lessons with students at your same level.

Lessons are 45 minutes. You will be riding for 30 minutes with tacking and untacking part of the lesson.

With help and under supervision students will groom and tack up the horse before the ride. After that, riding time begins. Once the kids are done they will untack their horse and bring back to the stall/pasture.

Your child needs long pants, boots, and a helmet. We have a helmet if needed.

No, we like our students to ride a variety of horses. The trainer decides which horse the student will ride.

Yes. In the process of learning to ride there is a chance a student comes off a horse. Even the most reliable horse can get startled and bring the student off balance.

We encourage that. The more time in the saddle the better.

If you are 15 minutes or later the student can’t ride that day.

We require a 30 day notice. Which means if you drop enrollment February 14 it will be effect March 14.

Yes, we offer a 10 percent discount. 

We have a covered arena so we can usually accommodate. If there is thunder, thunder, lightning, freeze, or heat advisory we might cancel for safety reasons.

Yes! Horses love apples and carrots. Please don’t give them anything unsupervised.
